Mail Call I have been guilty, ever since I started this blog, of not providing more evidence of reader feedback. That's because most readers read this blog to get information and not to see who else is reading the blog. However, it's probably good for the blog itself for me to post feedback---at least once or twice a year. So here goes:

They're [IFB preachers and their trolls] trying to intimidate you like they do with other people who refuse to agree with them, and cover for them. Thank you for speaking out and remaining firm. We need more Christians who are willing to do that.

I read your blog 3-4 times a week. I find it informative and entertaining. [SNIP] Keep up the good fight.

It's amazing what passes for the ministry of the word of God....I guess there is no accountability....I guess they [Fundamentalist preachers] have role-models for being a preacher like that, rather than role models who are careful and gracious expositors of the Bible.

I read FFF occasionally, and I've just happened across your blog following the links on the forum. I see you are looking into researching the molestation of children by graduates and men from FBC. The "preacher" who preformed the wedding ceremony for myself and my first husband was convicted of child molestation on two little girls and is serving time. He was a graduate of Hyles Anderson Collage. His name is Russell K Overla. He was the pastor of Lakeside Baptist Church in Cedar Lake, IN. I know it was talked about in the Hammond Times newspaper. It was probably about 4-7 years back.

I just ran across your Blog, and I wanted to say that you are absolutely right. I did learn some valuable lessons from my days at HAC (graduated '83 & '84), but it wasn't until I left and picked all the legalism out of my head that God could really even speak to me. I am sure you have paid the price, as well. God bless you.

I have been reading the FFF for about three months and have seen your name slandered over and over again. Then, today, I read PASTOR MARTY BRAEMER write that you had somehow slandered another guy. I finally found your blog and read the hyles dynasty timeline. I have been involved with a few guys who are so blind to reality because of hyles that I have almost given up on them.

I have been reading a lot of your blog and the FFF stuff. Wow! That and the Secret Radio blog brought back a lot of memories!...I am pretty new to the Fighting Fundamentalist stuff. I more or less ran from it about ten years ago. Thanks for writing.

Keep exposing these people Jeri. To some of us this is extremely important. I wish I could say this for the sake of all the people that have been effected by the IFB's but I don't-I say it this time for me. I still carry the bitterness deeply. Hope to lose it one day.
