![]() | Bill McCuddy's Interview with William Hurt
I just watched two snippets of Bill McCuddy's interview with William Hurt, which originally aired (live) yesterday (Saturday July 31). What came to mind almost instantlly was the old Cheech and Chong skit about why pot should be legalized. If you're old like I am and recall that bit from the 70's, you recall that the humor came from the guy being so stoned he couldn't make his point. McCuddy's questions were the usual simple fare that sympathetic newscasters feed to celebrities to help them look like they can think. But Hurt's answers, barely sensible, covered everything from "smashcuts" to columns of light to fly-eyes. Man, this is like something out of Cheech and Chong I thought. Fox aired bits of it again this morning strictly for entertainment purposes. So if you tune in to FOX NEWS, you may catch it. |
