I have been picked as the new Microsoft Access Guru at work! The fact that I received the title without knowing much about Microsoft Access did not hinder the rapidity with which my manager socked me with the title. He also gave me a 1200 page book on Microsoft Access, and we started my career with two or three trouble tickets to figure out.
Our IS manager actually knows a lot about Access, but he is too busy to take care of the trouble tickets. However, about once a day he drops by my cube, and gives me a 5-10 minute tutorial on whatever issue has me stumped.
Anyway, I express sharp regrets for not keeping up the blog for the last few days. However, I must tear myself away from the pages to thank the young woman who sent me the letter of appreciation for Secret Radio. Your secret is safe with me, and I thank you again and again for that letter. It is the best letter of appreciation I have ever received from a reader EVER, for any book I've ever written.
I just want to know, when you performed music at BJU, did you ever play anything that tooted?
And also, I am serious about working your way through a good and thorough Bible study on Romans, and then doing a thorough Bible study on Galatians. If some of the issues raised in SECRET RADIO still trouble you, I think good doctrine instead of hardline IFB tradition will clear away a lot of misconceptions. Your justification is all of grace, and your sanctification is all of grace. Most of the Scripture is Christ proving Himself to us as that Shepherd who will not desert us or despise us. Very little is about us proving ourselves to Him. Romans and Galatians offer thorough explanations of our position in Christ, which Christ has given to us.
