 | Have I Been Remiss?
In a post on the FFF, the frustrated Marty Braemer has found a sort of accusation against me. Marty has discovered that I study TaeKwon Do. Apparently he thinks it is some sort of secret, unaware that just about everybody else on the FFF knows this, and I've posted anecdotes of my martial arts career in the past. I've written an account of my experiences under the guidance of the remarkable Billy Hong (pictured at left) and my tenure in Hong's TaeKwon Do school. The story has been hit several thousand times and has been one of my most-read files on my website. |
I should explain that the Hyles-approved method of dealing with somebody who demands accountability is to search out the person's life for things to accuse in response. If you can't find something, you create something or make something up (hence the Hyles ploy of accusing Vic Nischik of being a womanizer, and when that didn't work, of being queer, all because Nischik confronted Hyles of stealing away his wife's affections).
I'm certainly sinful enough to have a huge list of sins and flaws to my charge, but it's sort of a drag on these guys that I'm open about advocating study of the stars (as they are God's design and the sign of His authorship of the universe), enjoying Doctor Who, and studying TaeKwon Do.
But I'm amazed that Marty didn't know until now that I'm a fourth degree black belt in TKD. And I'm stunned that he actually had to do a Google search to find it out (Yes, he did a Google search on me. Obsessed? Maybe!)
