 | My Ionic Breeze
I bought an Ionic Breeze two weeks ago because I'd heard so much good about it. Of course, once I got it home, plugged it in, and checked the 'net, I started reading how many allergists have said it is worthless. Fortunately, Sharper Image has a 60-day return policy. So I decided to give it two weeks. It seemed to help my allergies to a limited extent. Honestly, I cannot say it has had no effect. But neither can I call it a cure-all. |
Today when I pulled out the filter to wipe it clean, I did see a lot of dust on the thin filter plates and wiped it off. This prompted me to decide to give it another two weeks. If it traps that much dust, then it's that much dust I'm not breathing. One reviewer commented that she has light allergies, and she find her Ionic Breeze worth while. I have pretty strong allergies and I find it helpful to a limited extent. But for people with severe allergic reactions to dust, a HEPA filter may still be the way to go.
